IN ADDITION THE SAXOPHONIST NEEDS TWO (2) MICROPHONES (SM58) WITH CORDS AND BOOMSTANDS THAT HE WILL USE DIRECTLY INTO HIS SUB MIXER.

All monitors should be minimum 12" woofer and tweeter. Mic stand for Palmer Vocal should be a boom stand-for Skerik Vocal a straight stand.

We need three (3) transformers on stage (as listed on Backline rider) and IN ADDITION our sound person needs one (1) transformer by the front of house sound board. All should be 220-110 V with an American style plug.

DRUMS

All drums are to be made of wood, and are to have TWO HEADS.

Tom Tom heads -REMO COATED AMBASSADORS or equivalent ONLY

Snare drum top head- coated ambassador; bottom head- ambassador SNARE head ONLY

Bass drum batter head -Remo Powerstroke; front head-ambassador w/hole cut in it.

Only major professional drum company drums. Strongly prefer DW. Second choice Pearl, if not then Yamaha. No Sonor, Gretch or Ludwig, or old drums with old hardware. Please get the right SIZES and HEADS, these are the most important things.

(1) Bass drum, 20"
(1) Floor tom, 14"x14" with legs from floor. If you can't get this then I’ll take a 16" floor tom IF IT HAS LEGS. (NO MOUNTS FROM STANDS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES).
(1) Rack tom 12" X 8" MOUNTED FROM BASS DRUM ONLY.
(2) Snare Drums!!! 5x14 and 3x14 (piccolo) hard wood (i.e. Maple) No Deep Snare Drums CYMBALS
(1) Pair Hi-Hat Cymbals, prefer 14” Paiste 2002 Sound Edge.
(1) 20 inch Paiste 2002 Ride Cymbal medium weight
(1) 18 inch Paiste 2002 Crash/Ride Cymbal medium weight
(1) 18 inch Paiste China Type Cymbal medium weight
(1) 18 inch Paiste Flat Ride Cymbal medium weight

HARDWARE

Fairly heavy duty. 3 Cymbal Stands (one boom needed), 1 hi-hat stand, 2 snare drum stands. (Important—ONE SNARE STAND MUST BE THE LOWEST POSSIBLE, a Pearl or Yamaha).

(1) High quality continuously adjustable standard ROUND and SOFT padded seat (screw type, no back rest, no saddle seats).
(2) Bass drum pedal -DW chain drive or closest to it.
(1) One non-slip carpet to fit under the drums
(1) Large roll of duct-tape and paper napkins (serviettes)

Drums must be out of the cases and set up as well as possible before band arrives. For Festivals and any concerts with more than one band please provide my own separate drum set.

Please DO NOT simply give this to a drum rental shop, they will ignore the specifications and then we will have problems at the concert!
